Outboard engines: what to write in order
The maximum power is 600 hp, but number, brand, model, weight and propellers are not specified. They must appear in the contract with tools, handcuffs and wiring. Before delivery, complete rotation is checked, checking that cylinder, pipes and cables do not interfere with platforms or hull. Engine manuals and approved configuration are indispensable for maintenance and diagnosis.
Hydraulic steering and Power Assist
The hydraulic rudder is standard; the SeaStar Power Assist is optional. The verification sequence must indicate which solution is present, avoiding confusing servo assistance and basic plant. Content should not open the door in navigation. Brand, absorption and maintenance are those on the plate of the real component. Access for cleaning must not be prevented from sitting or stowed objects.
Marine toilet and septic tank
Marine toilet and septic tank are part of the standard. The verification sequence includes functional testing, valves, pipes, fixations and inspection points. Model documentation does not describe a complete cabin or additional services: no analogy should be added. The U sofa, the teak table and the additional kit for the poppiero sunbathing are standard. Every transformation must be tested: supports, cushions and tops must be stable and can be stored. In convivial configuration, a path to platforms remains necessary. Gavoni and technical accesses cannot become random deposits. Checks before each departure
The sequence starts from Sentry, available levels and absence of abnormal odours; it continues with batteries, panel, lights, tools, rudder and freedom of engines. On deck there are pillows, table, covers, gavones and loose equipment. Verricello and anchor line must be ready but insured, while platforms and ladder remain closed according to the instructions. The real number of people is compared with the range and the available storage. Each unresolved anomaly interrupts the preparation instead of being returned to navigation.
Checks on return
After use, the bilge, accessible fittings, tubular fittings, fixings and traces of rubbing are observed. Fresh water, WC, refrigerator and circuits are left in the condition provided by the respective manuals. Washing should not direct jets to declared protection-free components. Engine hours, supplies and problems encountered enter the register. This continuity allows to distinguish a new variation from a feature already present and makes the subsequent technical intervention more effective.
