Putting an 850 WA Tempest Hair into service means checking a walkaround platform with cabin, service facilities and outboard propulsion up to 450 hp. The board declares 8.85 meters, 16 people and about 2,200 kg dry. These values define the perimeter, not the configuration delivered. The verification sequence connects each component to the distinct and prevents you from turning images, optionals or promotional judgments into technical facts.

Identity and documentation
Identification number, model, CE category, scope and tag must correspond to documents. Manuals, certificates and separate specimens complete the general card. Dry weight does not describe the test condition: engines, 325 litres of fuel, 70 litres of water, people and optional change the mass. Each test must record the actual load and environmental conditions.

Engines within 450 hp
The maximum declared power is 450 hp outboard, but number, brand, model, weight and propellers are not specified. The order must bring them back together with tools and commands. Before delivery, complete rotation, wiring and piping occur, controlling interference with platforms and ladder. Manuals must coincide with the motorization mounted; speed and consumption do not result from power.
Hydraulic steering
The hydraulic rudder is standard, while the SeaStar Power Assist is optional. The verification sequence clearly distinguishes the two configurations. Cylinders, fittings and pipes are inspected, then we try the movement from bar to bar. Each thread requires intervention. Fluid, spurge and ranges come from the real system manual. The answer to the rudder must be described only after a registered test.
Compass, instruments and visual
The compass is standard; display and other tools depend on the setup. They control the definitive seat, readability and fixing with active users. Alarms and engine data must remain visible from the positions allowed by the tilting cushion. Cables and connectors are fixed and protected. Compensation or performance of the compass is not invented: procedures and verifications are valid for the installed component.

Electric panel
The electrical panel is included. Each circuit must have consistent label and accessible protection. There are separate navigation lights, bilge pump, winch, refrigerator, water pump and radio if present. The test is not limited to ignition: it observes fixings, wiring and anomalies. A photo of the picture and an updated scheme help to quickly recognize the circuit involved during management.
Automatic bilge pump
Automatic pump is standard. Location, exhaust, power supply and test mode must be identified on the specimen. It occurs that the sensor can operate and that the pipe is not crushed. Automatism does not replace inspection: water, odours or residues require research of the cause before exit. Each intervention is recorded and followed by a new functional test.
Optional dock current
The 220 V dock is optional. If choice, grip, protection, distribution and utilities are to appear in the scheme. The item does not allow to assume chargers or inverters. Cable and connectors are controlled before use, following the required connection sequence. Subsequent changes require adequate protection and document update, without improvised adapters in an environment exposed to water.

Fuel of approximately 325 liters
The standard tank is indicated in about 325 liters. Bocchettone, vent, indicator, pipes and accesses are located. Nominal capacity and usable fuel are not necessarily equal and the data does not provide autonomy. The register combines supplies and hours with engines, propellers, regime, load and conditions. Odours or traces of fuel require verification before operating utilities or leaving.
Fresh water of about 70 liters
The standard shower has a declared reserve of about 70 liters. Bocchettone, pump, fittings, dispenser and drainage are detected. The board does not declare hot water. You try the dispensing avoiding that the water reaches circuits or rooms not drained, then you look for losses. Cleaning, emptying and seasonal protection follow the mounted components and the temperatures provided in the storage.
Refrigerator approx. 48 liters
The refrigerator of about 48 liters is standard. The verification sequence records brand, power and protection by reading the real tag. We control ventilation, opening, closing and fixing, verifying that the contents cannot open the door. The cooling test follows time and conditions of the manufacturer. The capacity does not deduce absorption or performance and access for cleaning must remain free.

Cabin and dinette
The undercover cabin contains a dinette, but the board does not declare quotas, transformations or beds. The delivery must then verify directly entrance, seats, cushions, lighting and ventilation. Each panel or technical room must be accessible. Bags and objects are fixed without covering passages. No additional function should be attributed to the cabin if it does not appear in the separate specimen.
Marine toilet and septic tank
Marine toilet and septic tank are standard in private toilet. Commands, valves, pipes and inspection points are identified, so the test provided by the manual is performed. At the end, losses and smells are sought. The board does not specify sink or internal shower, which should not be added by analogy. The shipowner receives instructions for the use and management of discharges in accordance with the applicable rules.
Verricello and gavone again
Electric winch and fiberglass roller are standard. The verification sequence includes command, protection, fixing, line and drainage. Blades or chain must be collected without blocking the mechanism. The sunbathing and the parabords are released before the manoeuvre. The presence of the winch does not replace the verification of the line nor the definition of clear roles between those who govern and who works in the bow.

Platforms and ladder
Platforms and ladder kit are included. They control surface, fixing, opening and outlet points, then they observe the relationship with engines, propellers and rudder. The ski lift is tried by boat in the conditions allowed. Peaks and equipment should not deal with drainage or mechanisms. With table and chairs in use must remain a practicable path towards the poppiera area.
Integrated teak table
The folding table in teak is integrated into the guide bench and is part of the standard. Opening, stability, closing and fixing are proven. The movement should not touch people, pillows or technical access. Before navigation the table is blocked. The poppiero sunbathing kit is optional and requires control of pieces, supports and storage, without confuse it with the table included.
Bench and cushion
The tilting cushion allows you to change the driving posture. The verification covers hinges, blocks and freedom of movement, ensuring that controls and alarms remain accessible. The test is repeated with different users and with the table in the planned positions. Objects placed behind the bench should not interfere. Any change to the sitting must preserve fixations and access to existing facilities.

Tubes and electric pump
The declared material is Neoprene-Hypalon Orca 1670 dtex; the electric inflator pump is standard. Valves, joints, abrasions and uniformity are inspected. Pressions and sequences come from the manual, not from another inflatable. The pump does not authorize random adjustments. Detergents and repairs must be compatible with the material, while rigid objects are drawn away from the surfaces.
Navigation lights
Navigation lights are standard. Each light is tested separately, checking command, protection, fixing and visibility without attributing undeclared flow rates. Cablings and passages in the A-frame must be protected and accessible. The crew must know the circuit and check it before the exits that require its use. A lighted lamp does not exclude fastening defects or infiltrations to be inspected.
Optional radio
The radio is optional. When installed, model, loudspeakers, power supply and protection are noted. The volume should not cover alarms or communications during mooring and anchoring. Moderate channels are tested and fixed. In the washing, effective protection levels are respected. Any extensions require recalculating the absorption and updating of the electric scheme.

Beams and covers
Bimini, storage cover and cover for consoles and benches are distinct optional. For each one we control attacks, mobile parts, cloths and storage bag. No element should reduce visuals or steps. Covers are removed before departure and secured in a dry compartment. The compatibility with the standard A-frame must be from the approved configuration, not from assumptions.
Service and ski pole
SeaStar Power Assist and ski pole are separate options. Servo assistance changes components and controls of the rudder; the pole introduces fixtures and specific use. If present, both must appear in the separate and have relevant manuals. No undeclared loads or performance are attributed. Before use, you can check fixings, accessibility and interference with engines, platforms and guest path.
Testing in four stages
Dry identity, tubular, covered and distinct. In the dock we try rudder, picture, bilge, water, WC, refrigerator, winch and lights. At sea there are engines, propellers, load and conditions, observing alarms without inventing performance. On the return, the rooms are reopened to search for losses, smells or loosening. Each relief is corrected and tested.
Check before each exit
The commander checks weather, documents, fuel with margin, water, batteries, bilge, steering, engines, anchor line and fixing of the equipment. Pressure and state of tubulars follow the manual. Table, cushions and covers are secured; steps and platforms remain free. An updated distinction prevents you from confusing standard, optional photos and components not present on the Tempest 850 WA Hair.
Minutes and maintenance
The final record records tests, results, anomalies and verifications after corrections. Engine seats, tank status, people and testing conditions are noted. Pictures of plates, picture, valves and accesses complete the manuals. An untested component remains explicitly checked. This method distinguishes defects, absences and normal configuration choices, building a reliable base for future maintenance.
