Bluegame BGM75: IPS, plants and analysis of double hull

Bluegame BGM75 in profile navigation

The Bluegame BGM75 measures 22,75 meters out of everything, 8,15 meters of glare and 1,70 meters of full-load fishing. It is a motor multi-hull with less extreme proportions of many traditional catamarans: the two hulls support a wide central platform, while the lateral encumbrance remains a data to be accurately planned for boat, feed and maneuver.

This guide covers configuration, plants and acceptance of the specimen; it is not a test at sea. The current documentation indicates 69 tons half load and 72 tons full load, both with five percent tolerance. Standard propulsion with two Volvo Penta D13 IPS1050 800 hp, alternative with two D13 IPS1200 900 hp, 5,000 litres of fuel and 2,000 litres of water define a boat that requires a detailed specifications before testing.

Configuration: Freeze version and layout

The first operating document must identify design version, layout and weight condition. Previous technical data can refer to different revisions and should not be mixed. The contract design must coincide with number of cabins, doors, bathrooms, storages, technical premises and escape routes. Each option contains mass, position, absorption and maintenance access.

The initial verification sequence includes motors, pods, propellers, software, stabilizers, generators, batteries, air conditioning, possible dissection, tenders and hotel appliances. The approved order becomes the reference to verify the real boat and prevents undocumented replacements to be accepted as equivalents.

Two hulls: symmetric tanks and loads

On a multihull the position of the loads counts as much as the quantity. Fuel, water, batteries, spare parts and luggage must be read by side. A persistent dive difference can depend on levels, sensors or storages and should not only be corrected with dynamic systems. Dives, dives and levels are recorded in the test condition.

The distinct final weights indicate what is present and where. Tender, toilet toy and furnishings on the upper deck affect the center of gravity. The residual margin is an operational feature: it determines how much the boat can be customized without moving away from the planned condition.

IPS1050 or IPS1200: a mission choice

The two 800 hp D13 IPS1050 are the standard configuration; the two 900 hp IPS1200 are the declared alternative. The choice is not reduced to speed. They change medium load, cost, noise, spare parts and margin with sea or high weight. The profile of use must indicate annual miles, habitual regime, stay away from assistance and realistic load.

Serials, reports, props and electronic releases are recorded for the ordered version. The two sides are compared with stabilized systems for turns, load, pressure, temperature and consumption indicated. Persistent deviations require diagnosis before acceptance.

Pod, joystick and manoeuvre in the marina

Engines, gearbox, pods, counter-rotating propellers, steering and joysticks are a single system. The inspection checks seals, oils, protections, wiring and freedom of movement. In the port you try progress, reverse, translation, rotation and stop with noted wind. The answer must be progressive and consistent on both sides.

The 8.15 meters of glare make visual essential, communication and preparation of the tops. The technology assists but does not eliminate inertia and taking the wind. The commander must know the procedure with an unavailable pod, a degraded sensor or joystick not usable.

Five thousand liters: autonomy and transfers

The 5,000 litres are divided into two 2,500 litre tanks. Nominal capacity and usable quantity do not match: bottom, reserve and generators reduce the fuel available for route. Indicators and levels are calibrated with measured supplies; vents, returns, filters, valves and interceptions must have consistent labels with the patterns.

The supply procedure coordinates the two sides and prevents overpressure or discourse. The autonomy arises from consumption observed on the specimen with known load, not from a single promotional number. The register of the first exits builds a reliable curve.

Synchronized double stabilization

The BGM75 is proposed with two synchronized gyroscopic stabilizers, one per hull. They must be tested as a system: fixings, sensors, power supply, cooling, communication and stopping logic. Starting, reaching the regime, alarms, arrest and behavior in degraded mode is recorded.

Acceleration and slowdown times enter the energy plan and start procedures. Efficacy is assessed under the conditions allowed, without promising roll elimination. The loss of a machine must produce clear indications and do not leave doubts about the state of the other.

Electrical system and dependencies

The unifilare scheme must distinguish services of the two hulls, common utilities, generators, batteries, inverters and docks. The budget separates continuous loads, peaks and essential functions. Climate, kitchen, boiler, pumps, stabilizers and movements are activated in realistic combinations, measuring tension and connection temperature.

A double installation does not guarantee redundancy if it shares painting, cooling or command. The proof of loss of a source shows which services remain available and how switching takes place. Separators, fuses and arrests must be accessible and readable.

Plane and data network

Displays gather navigation, propulsion, levels, energy and alarms. Duplicate screens must be distinguished from truly independent sensors and power supplies. The network map identifies GNSS, radar, AIS, autopilot, VHF, gateway, switch and shared devices.

During acceptance, the loss of a screen, a data source and an electrical branch is safely simulated. Essential functions must remain legible. Brightness, reflections and priority of alarms occur day and dark; configurations and passwords are delivered to the owner.

Climate of the large central volume

All-glazed salon, stained glass and openings increase light and continuity, but also solar load. The climate is felt with people, lighting and active appliances. Temperature, humidity, absorption and noise are recorded by area, without limiting to the temperature set on the panel.

Doors, guides, seals and drainages receive more cycles and water proof. Furnishings and skies should not obstruct air returns or technical access. Condense and irregular distribution are signals to be resolved before delivery.

Kitchen, lunch and simultaneous loads

Cooking, cooling, suction, water and washing work close to service routes. Drawers and appliances require nautical stops; heat and vapours should not affect coatings or sensors. Flow control, discharges, ventilation and possibility to isolate each appliance.

The energy test activates kitchen, air conditioning, boiler and refrigeration together. Switching, tension and paintings are observed. Doors and seats in the final configuration cannot block escape routes, bridges or fire-fighting devices.

The dining area must preserve stops and service routes.

Three or four cabins

The three and four cabin variants represent different organizations, not only one extra bed. They change privacy, storage, water request, ventilation and crew paths. The approved design must correspond to doors, cabinets, bathrooms and exemplar panels.

Each cabin is prepared with linen and luggage to verify passages, escape routes and accesses. Takes, lighting, climate and obscurement try together. Installations behind the finishings must remain accessible without demolitions.

Transversal Suite and acoustic baseline

The ship's cabin exploits the space between the two hulls. Geometry requires attention to structure, insulation and plant passages. Bed and cabinets should not prevent access to wiring, ventilation or fittings; windows and portholes receive water proof after navigation.

Noise and vibration are measured with IPS, generators, climate, pumps and gyroscopes in repeatable combinations. The results become the baseline for the following seasons. A future variation can thus be diagnosed, instead of being subjective.

Fresh, grey and black water

The 2,000 litres of water and 660 litre tanks for gray and black require a balance based on people and days in satin. Indicators, vents, valves, pumps and emptying points are identified. More utilities work together to check pressure, hot water, discharge and waste.

Odors or unstable readings are not cosmetic details. Ventilation, seals and drainage of showers are controlled after complete cycles. A possible dissalator enters the capitulate with flow, quality, absorption and maintenance, without being given by present.

Upper bridge and navigation configuration

People, furniture, wet bar and protections on the high deck affect the center of gravity. Each element must have a navigational position and a restraint system. Drainage, tientibene, battalions and anti-slip surfaces are verified with wet bridge.

The allowed layout changes between radius and navigation. The briefing establishes where guests can stay when sea and speed increase. Tables, cushions and objects cannot be left free only because the space is wide.

Interior Lounge of Bluegame BGM75
Ventilation and technical access must be verified with the installed furnishings.

Tender, garage and mobile loads

Dimensions and weight of the tender must coincide with garage, cradles and handling system. The test includes varo and recovery with people in the planned positions. Interferences with doors, peaks, furniture and technical access are controlled.

Water toy and batteries require restraint, ventilation and protected charging. Drainage and pumps are tested after washing. The garage cannot become a store that hides valves, paintings or emergency equipment.

Fire, feel and safety

High-level pumps and alarms are tested for each volume. Revelation, extinction, remote arrests and fuel closures must be accessible with furnishings and baggage. The separation of the two hulls requires a clear map of sensors, pumps and valves.

The briefing includes man at sea, fire, loss of government and abandonment. Jackets and rafts remain reachable. The crew must recognize to which area each alarm belongs and what action is expected.

Sea trial and declared performance

The 16 cruising knots and the 20 of the maximum, both declared with tolerance of five percent, are valid only with known conditions. The program records load, sea, wind, temperature, turns, speed, consumption, temperatures and trim. Points are stabilized and repeated on reciprocal routes when possible.

Acceleration, stop, turn, visibility and wave response occur. The useful system combines comfort, autonomy and mechanical margin. No isolated reading is transformed into a universal promise.

final verification sequence and acceptance

Order, serials, schemes and installations are compared before the final signature. Each relief receives responsibility, expiry and closing criterion. After an intervention we repeat the test concerned, especially for seals, pods, alarms and safety.

The file keeps weights, levels, software, photographs, test curves and maintenance plan. The delivery must allow the owner to isolate fuel, batteries and water, recognize alarms and put the yacht in safety.

Operational evaluation of Bluegame BGM75

The BGM75 concentrates double hull, two IPS, coordinated stabilization, large tanks and alternative layouts in a 22.75 meter platform. The best configuration is not the one with multiple equipment, but the one in which weights, plants and accesses are documented and verifiable.

A delivery baseline allows you to manage symmetry, consumption, energy and comfort over time. This is the decisive criterion: to transform an unusual architecture into repeatable procedures, without relying on the only impression of space or the installed power.
