Configuring a BRIG Navigator 24 means coordinating engine, batteries, plants, seats and load within precise limits. The platform measures 7.30 meters without outboard, accepts up to 250 hp and can bring nine or ten people according to the design category. The current card and the manual do not coincide on all volumes of the tanks: it is therefore essential to check plates and distinct of the individual specimen. The following guide organizes verification as a delivery, use and maintenance sequence, without turning catalog data into never measured performance.
Identify the boat before you configure it
The first control concerns the number of hulls, plate of the manufacturer, year, category and manual referring to the unit. Navigator 24 replaces the previous Navigator 730 in the range and should not be confused with the latter only because length and program of use are close. The tubular material can be Hypalon or PVC; single and double motor require different shaft lengths. A reliable distinction lists propellers, batteries, rudder, electronics, T-top, shower, ladder and other accessories. Promotional photographs and trade name do not replace this identification.

Choose a consistent configuration
The central console blanket can serve family, fishing or water sports, but it is not prudent to sum up every accessory. The family version prefers seats, hooks, shadows and boots; the fishing version requires free working surfaces and rod holders positioned without hindrance; the sporty use must leave the dedicated hook accessible and arrange tops and equipment. Before the order it is best to draw people, luggage and openings on the plant. The layout is valid if each door opens, the steps remain feasible and the overall mass retains a documented margin.

Single or double motor: mandatory controls
The single configuration uses a 25 inch tree; the double includes two 20 inch trees. The recommended power is 200 hp and the limit is 250 hp overall. Motors, controls and batteries must not exceed 560 kg. Before installation, drilling, height, rudder, cabling, battery position and propeller compatibility should be confirmed. After mounting, the steering rod is tested and pipes and fittings are controlled. Consumption, autonomy and speed remain data to be detected on the finished boat, with fuel, crew and conditions noted.
Distribute masses and people correctly
The manual distinguishes 1.070 kg of empty boat, 1.155 kg with the maximum equipment of the manufacturer without engine and 1.660 kg in light condition. The maximum total load is 1,200 kg and the load displacement is 2.860 kg. These values have different definitions and are not added freely. People, liquids, luggage, compulsory safety equipment and optionals must enter a load sheet. The capacity is ten people in category C and nine in B; the distribution indicated by the manufacturer changes with the category. Heavy objects must be kept low and fixed.

Fuel circuit: what to inspect
The system includes vent, vent, integrated tank, sensor, indicator, filter and line towards the outboard. The filter is not supplied by the manufacturer according to the manual and must be suitable for marine use. During delivery, each tube is followed, checking diameter, rubbing protection, clamps, supports and accessibility. The compartment must ventilate without obstruction. Extinguished motor examines smells and drawings; after refuelling they recheck joints and cap. No portable tanks are installed in closed rooms and no modification is performed without qualified personnel.
Fuel capacity: interpret 340, 300 and 250
The page and pattern of the manual declare 340 liters. The same manual does not recommend full per cent and recommends a maximum of 300 liters per supply, to leave volume to expansion. In the sheet of the masses the fuel to the maximum capacity is instead accounting in 250 kg. The three numbers describe different aspects and do not authorize shortcuts. The physical capacity is read on the tank plate; the operating quantity follows the instructions; the mass calculation uses the data applicable to the configuration. Autonomy comes only from measured consumption and a prudent reserve.

Shower and fresh water: solve the discrepancy
The official page attributes 39 liters to the shower tank, while the manual describes a 43 litre tank. When delivery, the label, capacity and position of the installed component are checked. The circuit includes bracket, automatic pump, filter, vent, vent, tube and shower. Water is not intended for human consumption and a level sensor is missing. After filling the pump must reach pressure and stop; continuous operation to closed utilities signal loss or aspiration of air. At the end of use the system is rinsed and, in the presence of frost, completely drained.
Pozzetto drainage and bilge are separated
Navigator 24 uses two independent routes. The cockpit discharges through vents, pipes and poppie exits with diaphragm. The bilge has two pumps, two exhaust lines, grills, inspection doors and bottom cap. Every pipe has to stay free of weights and rubbish. Before departure both pumps are operated in manual and the automatic is available during navigation. The cap remains closed in water and opens only dry. An automatic pump does not replace the manual exhaustion device to keep accessible.

Batteries and pump feed
The manual states that the bilge pumps remain active even when the main switches are disabled. This logic protects the boat, but can download the batteries during a long stop. It is therefore necessary to map permanent circuits, fuses and mass points, verifying that no added accessory bypasses the protections. The batteries are part of the 560 kg limit attributed to the propulsion with controls. Terminals, fixings, ventilation and cables must resist vibration and humidity. Before delivery, the rest and under load voltage is measured, without assuming that a light display shows the health of the system.
Plane, steering and electronics
Steering wheel, lever and switch panel occupy the console; the upper space can accommodate instruments and screens. The images show a possible layout, not a guaranteed equipment. The manufacturer, model, serial number, transducer, software version and power circuit are noted for each device. The view must remain free both sitting and standing. The lever should not hit handrails or accessories; the steering wheel must move without hard points. Behind the panel, connectors and cables must be supported, protected and accessible. A water test completes the verification of instruments and sensors.

Pressure and maintenance of the five rooms
The tubular has five independent compartments and nominal pressure of 0.2 bar. It inflates by degrees, distributing pressure between the rooms, and is used the approved pump instead of compressors not expected. The sun can increase the pressure, while cooling reduces it; reading is then connected to the temperature. Each valve is tested and closed with the cap. Fabric, joints and rubbing bands are closely observed. Gasoline, oils, chlorine and solvents must be removed immediately with fresh water and compatible detergents. On board remains an appropriate repair kit.
Gavoni, seats and technical access
Poppiere celano gavoni and access to parts of the plants. During the audit the containers are removed, the doors are opened and pumps, pipes and brackets can be reached without improper disassembly. Hinges and closures must block seats, because an open stop can cause damage or injury. Boots should not be filled until compressed drainage or ventilation lines. Prua, console and stern must offer a secure location for anchors, peaks, parabords and personal equipment, without occupying the routes used by passengers.
Category B and C: change positions
Nine people are allowed in category B and ten in C. In category B no one can sit on the tubular; in C a position on the tubular is provided only by using at the same time two hooks. The manual indicates where to place the crew and remembers to reduce speed when someone occupies a more exposed position. At the time of delivery we try each session with the T-top and the accessories already mounted. Nominal count does not replace weight distribution and does not guarantee comfort. The most cautious configuration is the one that keeps sticking, visibility and movement routes.

T-top, arch, ladder and covers
T-top, double arch, shower, ladder with platform, harnesses and covers are elements to be confirmed in the distinct. The T-top brings the height to 2.72 meters and adds mass and surface to the wind; fixing and wiring must be documented. The arch should not be confused with a universal point of towing. The ladder must open from the water, have intact snodes and not interfere with motor or rudder. Covers should not hinder ventilation or accumulate water. Each option introduces new maintenance and must leave the systems under or behind it accessible.
Lifting and transport on trolley
The integrated lifting points must be controlled together with the surrounding laminate. The crane and slings must be dimensioned on the actual mass of the boat, not on the only 1.070 kg of the shell set up without motor and fuel. Before lifting, gavones are closed, moving objects are removed and it occurs that the non-touch tubular, console or T-top straps. For the cart they measure supports, load on the hook and encumbrance with motor. A certified weighing of the ready configuration allows you to verify the reach of the trailer and the margin of the driving vehicle.
Train and water skiing: functions not to be confused
The spring hook on the arch is intended for only one person on the skis and should not draw inflatable games, other units or water bikes. Prodieri eyelets are instead dedicated to the tow of the boat; the manual attaches to the main point a maximum horizontal load of 18 kN. Mooring bits are indicated for 12 kN. During the verification we control dice, counterplates, corrosion and motion signs. Tops and accessories should not rub on the tubular. The correct function of each point should be explained to the crew and reported in the onboard verification sequence.

They measure encumbrance and real mass; it opens every room with the already furnished boat. Then only controlled quantities are supplied and losses are sought. In water we try steering, tools, drainage and pumps, recording load, propeller, weather and conditions. No claims on speed, consumption or trim are accepted without measurement. Anomaly, discordant numbers and unidentified components must be resolved in writing before the balance.
Maintenance plan for Navigator 24
Before each exit: pressure chambers, bottom cap, pumps, steering, fuel and fixing. After use: tubular rinse, blanket, hardware, ladder and outboard. Periodically: fuel pipes, vents, filter, bilge, autoclave, batteries and closures. At the end of the season: water drainage, filter cleaning, fuel circuit protection according to engine indications and lifting points inspection. Interventions are recorded with date, hours and spare parts. An orderly history makes the exemplary status verifiable and reduces the risk of confusing maintenance performed with simple declaration.
Final configuration assessment
The Navigator 24 offers space, dual propulsion possibilities and facilities suitable for daily articulated use. Its versatility works when the setup remains legible: calculated masses, free passages, accessible circuits and separate towing functions. Documental differences in fuel and water volumes are not details to be ignored, but verifications to be closed on the unit. A good purchase is not recognized by the number of accessories. It is recognized by the consistency between plate, separate, installations, test and maintenance plan, with every performance documented on the real boat.
