The Custom Line Saetta 140 is a 42.61 meters with a beam of 8.54 meters and a declared stand of 398 GT. The board of the yard indicates two MTU 16V 2000 M96L of 2.638 mhp each, 28,400 liters of fuel, 4,000 liters of water, five guest cabins and four cabins for the crew. These numbers describe the platform, but do not replace the exemplar configuration.
The following reading is a guide to configuration, plants and delivery, not a test at sea. Speed and autonomy are data declared to be checked with load, conditions and instruments recorded. On a large fast yacht the result depends on the agreement between weights, propulsion, hotel utilities, stabilization and crew procedures.

Configuration and separate weights
Between 225 and 265 tons there is a margin that includes liquids, people, supplies, tenders, water toy and equipment. Every customization must have mass and position. A heavy element on the high bridge influences the baricentro; a concentration at the bow or stern changes dives and longitudinal response.
The delivery requires the final weight report, read fishing and a repeatable reference condition. Tanks, tenders and stocks must be declared. Correctors and stabilizers cannot become the way to hide a non-consistent static order.
MTU protectors and axis line
The two sixteen cylinders work with gearboxes, axes, supports, propellers, thymones, cooling and discharges. The verification sequence compares molecules, reports, software versions, diameters and steps with the specimen file. Protections and alarms are tested without altering the thresholds.
At stabilized systems, turns, load, temperatures, pressure and consumption of each side are recorded. Persistent differences require diagnosis. After navigation you control seals, levels, filters, supports and alignments, annotating each intervention performed.

Machine room and real maintenance
Accessibility occurs by simulating replacement of filters, impellers, pumps and exchangers. A component that can be reached only by disassembling furniture or pipes is not really maintenanceible. Steps, lighting, ventilation and hot protection must remain effective with all the machines in operation.
The test measures ambient temperature and ventilation behaviour with engines and generators under load. Sentine, drainage and leak detection receive separate tests. Special tools, lifting points and spare parts must match the installed machines.
Fuel: 28,400 liters to make usable
Nominal capacity and volume used in route do not coincide. Funds, reserve, trim, daily cases and generator consumption reduce the available data. The scheme must show tanks, transfers, returns, valves, vents, separators and interceptions, using the same sigles on board.
The probes compare with quantities known during the supply. Automatic alarms and arrests are tested. The crew must be able to isolate a line, transfer fuel without unbalance the unit and quickly recognize an inconsistent reading.

Declared autonomy and route plan
The 1.850 miles to 11 knots are a reference of the yard. To use it you need a curve measured on the specimen, with sea, wind, displacement, hours of generators and reserve margin. Planning also considers deviations, expectations, fuel availability and supply quality.
The diary combines quantity, hours, consumption and levels. In this way the forecast is correct travel after travel. A single speed relief is not enough: more stabilized points and reciprocal routes are needed to reduce the effect of environmental conditions.
Electric generation and load scenarios
The electric budget distinguishes platform, navigation, rail, night and maximum hotel load. Air conditioning, kitchen, laundry, desalination, lighting and entertainment are lit in the planned combinations. Voltage, frequency, frame temperatures and protection selectivity are controlled.
The controlled loss of a generator checks start, transfer and priority of the users. Batteries, chargers and inverters must support the functions indicated without abnormal discharges. The black-start is performed by the crew following a procedure available without data network.

Fresh water and hotel autonomy
The 4,000 liters must be translated into days, people and user profile. Pumps, autoclaves, boilers, dissalators and treatment are tested with more open utilities. Flow, pressure, quality, temperature and absorption are the baseline.
Filters and membranes must be accessible; preservation and washing require precise instructions. A loss is sought by isolating the branches, not increasing the frequency of the pumps. The spare parts include elements compatible with the really installed version.
Grey, black and light water
Volumes, probes, vents, pumps and valves must coincide with the patterns. High-level alarms are activated in each case. The procedure considers the rules of the navigation area and prevents involuntary maneuvers or unallowed discharges.
The hair dryers are tested zone by area, including alarms, automatic pumps and manual controls. Suctions and no return remain inspectable. Each alarm on the bridge must identify the compartment and suggest an unequivocal first action.

Stabilization, government and power
Pins, timones, autopilot and motorcycle sensors depend on power and data. Model, limits, safety logic and stopping modes must result from the specifications. Testing compares active and disactive behavior without using stabilization to correct a thirst problem.
They simulate loss of a sensor, exclusion of a channel and switching power. Local government and emergency must be practicable. Redundancy is credible only when a single failure does not interrupt both paths.
Plancia, data network and alarms
Display pages must represent the real configuration. Names of tanks, groups and zones are uniformed between patterns, labels and interface. Software, configuration and backup versions are stored before delivery.
Alarm test is not limited to sound: it controls priority, recognition, recording and operational consequence. Radar, communications, cameras and sensors are checked together, avoiding network loss to eliminate more than expected functions.

Air conditioning and large glass surfaces
Over three hundred square meters inside and large windows impose a realistic thermal testing. People, lights and electronics remain active while temperature, humidity, condensate, noise and absorption per zone are recorded. Filters, shoots and drains must remain accessible.
Towels, glues, doors and drainages receive water proof before and after navigation. Persistent differences between rooms or panels difficult to remove are treated as reliefs, not as inevitable features of the layout.
Kitchen, laundry and service
The separation of routes between guests and crew must be verified during a simulated day. Preparation, service, reorganization and mooring can take place together. Pantry, whirlpools, boots and steps must work with busy tables and doors in the position of use.
Cooking, cooling, suction, washing and laundry are tested simultaneously. We control ventilation, heat, drainage, voltage drops and nautical closures. Each appliance must be isolated and removed without destructive intervention.

Guest cabins and crew rooms
The five guest cabins and four crew are compared to the approved layout. Doors, beds, obscuring, sockets, lighting, climate and escape routes are felt in every room. Bags and linen must not cover panels or equipment.
Noise and vibration are measured in repeatable conditions with engines, generators and pumps identified. Local crews require the same ventilation, safety and access control. A rested crew is part of operational continuity.
External bridges and navigation configuration
Furniture, pillows, tables, tents and tub on high decks have mass, deemed and a navigational position. Parapets, stairs, tientibene, drainage and anti-slip surfaces are tested with wet blanket. The wind outlet enters the manoeuvre procedure.
Prodiera and poppiera areas should not prevent bitten, cable or command access. The view from the bridge is evaluated with layout and people present. Lighting and communication with maneuver teams are also tested in emergency.

Garage, tender and platforms
Tender, water bike, cradles, winches, doors and platform form a system. Weights and dimensions coincide with the contract. Varo and recovery are repeated with the crew in the planned positions, controlling sensors, arrests and manual procedures.
Water toy batteries and fuels require ventilation, detection and deemed. The cycle includes washing, recharging, drainage and seal restoration. Boots can not hide pumps, valves or fire equipment.
Fire, escape routes and training
Revelation, fixed extinction, locks, ventilation and fuel interceptions are operated according to an agreed matrix. The escape routes run through real furnishings and luggage. Each member of the crew must know zones, arrests and communications.
The briefing includes fire, water entrance, government loss, blackout and man at sea. Exercises are recorded with times and reliefs. A procedure is acceptable when it can be performed without interpreting a manual for the first time during the emergency.
Try at sea and close the reliefs
The program records displacement, levels, sea, wind and temperature. Multiple stabilized systems include speed, consumption, load, pressure, temperature, trim, noise and vibration. The 21.5 maximum knots, the 18 cruises and the 1.850 miles remain declared until the relevant configuration supports them.
Each survey is responsible, expiry and verification method. After a correction, the test is repeated in the most comparable conditions. As-built, serial, software, spare parts and maintenance plan are delivered in the same revision of the unit.
Operating Rating
The Saetta 140 combines volume under 400 GT and significant speed. For NauticMag the decisive point is not the single data, but the ability to keep energy, fluids, weights and redundancies under control. A well documented configuration also makes customizations more complex.
The delivery is complete when crew and assistance can reconstruct the state of the specimen, isolate a fault and repeat a measure. It is this passage, from the endowment to the verified procedure, which transforms the great yacht into a really usable platform for long cruises.
