The configuration of the Fountaine Pajot FP44 part from three decisions: layout, motorization and energy architecture. The catamaran measures 13,26 meters for 7,44, offers from three to four cabins and can adopt standard diesel, upgraded diesel or the ODSea+ electric package. Each choice must be translated into patterns, serials, tests and delivery procedures.

Three layouts, three separate

Master, Full Master and Quatuor are not simple cosmetic settings. They change cabins, bathrooms, routes and plants. The verification sequence must indicate the name of the version and the number of revision of the tables. Elements from different configurations are not combined without approval.

The register binds any changes to furniture, utilities, mass and calendar. The contractual table is compared with the unit during construction and before delivery. Rendering and configurator do not replace odds and distinct.

Master version

The Maestro version declares a shipowning suite with private bathroom, a multifunctional space or wardrobe and two double cabins with two bathrooms. The front area can be organized as an office, small additional room or work area, according to the approved configuration.

The test checks bed, storages, ventilation, lighting, bathroom and technical access. The function chosen for the multifunction room must have consistent power supplies and furnishings. A variant is also recorded when it does not require complex devices.

Full Master and Quatuor

The other families complete an offer from three to four cabins, from six to eight beds and from three to four bathrooms. The actual count must be from the documents of the specimen. The capacity for persons and categories of navigation is not deducted from the number of beds.

Each cabin is verified for access, bed, closets, openings, obscuring and assigned bathroom. Cleaning and linen change paths are simulated. Intensive use makes important storage and separation of equipment.

Kitchen with central island

The island organizes preparation and service in the living room. The configuration must list appliances, power supplies, powers, protections and manuals. Worktop, drawers and doors are tested in use and navigation positions.

The test turns on more utilities in a realistic scenario and looks at the electrical budget. Water, drains and ventilation must correspond to the scheme. Unpublished equipment is not considered standard.

Window openable and passive

The fully open window connects salon and cockpit; an anterior stroller expands the relationship with the prodier area. Mechanisms, seals, drains and closures require identification and procedure. The transformation must take place without interference with the furnishings.

Motion, locking, sealing and indications. The crew must know when to close and how to react to an anomaly. Maintenance access remains available with the finished interior.

Building of 35.5 square meters

The declared living area is 35.5 m2. The check sequence divides table, chairs, steps, drainage and access to the sea. Mobile elements have a safe position and do not have to occupy locks or panels.

The test simulates meal service, mooring and guest movement. Lighting, protection and gavones occur. The nominal surface is translated into practical paths, not treated as simple promotional data.

Timoneria and station of maneuvers

The half-height position keeps the helmsman in contact with cockpit and lounge; front is the area dedicated to sailing manoeuvres. The verification includes visual, sitting, tools, shelters, winchs and steps.

Communications are tested with the crew. Every maneuver has sequence and responsibility. The statements of the yard on the management in couple do not replace training, experience and evaluation of conditions.

Upper lounge and prodiera area

The raised lounge measures 10.7 m2; the prodiera area 9.2 m2 and includes sunbathing, table and chairs. Bearings, tables and mobile objects must have hold positions. Access and visuals from the rudder remain priority.

The sequence of verification tests tientibene, drainage, lighting and gavones. Each area is tested in open configuration and prepared for navigation. Cover equipment must remain accessible.

Standard 2×30 cv diesel

The base uses two 30 cv engines. Order and plates must specify brand, model, transmissions and serials. Cooling, drains, power and commands are reconciled with the patterns.

Testing records conditions, regimes, temperatures, alarms and command response. Power is not transformed into speed or theoretical consumption. Access to filters, belts and service points is verified.

Optional diesel from 2 × 57 cv

The option brings power to two 57 cv engines. The verification sequence requires the list of differences from the base: mass, media, transmissions, sea-takes, discharges and ventilation. It's not an isolated voice.

The choice considers technical support and spare parts in the planned areas. Tests must use agreed criteria and recorded conditions. Any quantitative benefits are accepted only if documented.

Electrical package ODSea+

The configuration declares two 25 kW electric motors, 24 kW generator, two 21 kWh batteries, hydrogeneration and 6 kW inverters. These components form an integrated system and must be ordered as a complete revision.

The verification sequence identifies engines, batteries, management, protections, cooling and wiring. The crew receives procedures for normal states, alarms and isolation. The electric label is not enough to describe autonomy or behavior.

Energy options

The package includes batteries increased to two units from 27 kWh, two 3 kW chargers and an additional 6 kW AC inverter to reach 12 kW overall. Each option updates loads, masses and patterns.

Effective capacity, voltage, usable power and operating limits. No nominal number is converted into service hours without load profile. Manuals and serials must match the installed devices.

Solar up to 2,000 W and hydrogeneration

The construction site declares up to 2,000 W of integrated solar panels and includes hydrogeneration in the ODSea+ package. “Fino a” requires you to control the really ordered power, layout, regulator and reference conditions.

The test tests production, monitoring and protection according to protocol. Shading and environmental conditions affect the result. The renewable generation is inserted into the budget without unmeasured promises.

Water tanks: 2 × 300 liters

Fresh water is divided into two 300 litre tanks. The verification sequence identifies vents, vents, pumps, autoclaves, levels and insulation possibilities. The usable capacity must be distinct from the geometric one.

Each tap and appliance is associated with the circuit. Indications and switches are tested. Filters and pumps must be accessible with mounted furniture, avoiding dismantling for ordinary control.

Oil: 2 × 350 liters

The two 350 litre tanks bring total nominal capacity to 700. Scheme, valves, vents, filters, power supply and sensors must match the unit. In the electrical version, the fuel is cleared.

Autonomy is not declared and is not calculated by hypothetical consumption. The scenarios use measured data, reserve, sea and cargo. Propulsion and electricity generation must remain distinct in the register.

Veil plan and inventory of maneuvers

Round and genoa measure 78 and 45 m2; gennaker or spinnaker 130 m2. The verification sequence identifies sails, winders, straights, rocks, winchs and actual equipment. Materials or brands not published are not deducted.

The evidence declares wind, sea, load and configuration. Reductions, communications and storage occur. The observed speeds have value only with context and recorded tools.

Electronics and Communications

The page does not list the electronic kit. The separate must specify displays, sensors, autopilot, communications, antennas, networks, software and licenses. Each station receives a matrix of functions.

The testing checks power, data, alarms, versions and configuration backups. Degraded modes are also tested. The apparent redundancy and real independence must not be confused.

Construction and technical access

The construction site combines its production with composites and injection and infusion processes. The single FP44 requires relevant specifications, designs and certifications. It does not automatically attribute the same process to each component.

Panels, valves, filters and connections must remain accessible. The verification sequence physically tests accesses and space for the extraction of components. Every relief is responsible and counter-proof.

Maintenance and acceptance

The maintenance plan comes from the configuration: diesel and ODSea+ have different equipment and skills. Manuals, serials, spare parts and deadlines are collected in a register. The crew receives training on the alarms and procedures allowed.

The calendar distinguishes controls before departure, periodic checks and operations for hours of operation. Shaft, sails, engines, batteries, generator, panels, pumps and appliances cannot share a generic frequency. For critical components, spare parts, tools required and service contact are available. The following changes to the delivery update inventory and patterns, so the file does not lose correspondence with the real boat.

Contractual documents and training

Delivery requires a matrix that connects order, approved boards, separate apparatuses, serial numbers and test minutes. For each item there are version, location on board, applicable manual and maintenance interval. This step is particularly important when choosing between Master, Full Master and Quatuor or between diesel and ODSea+: a generic range document does not show which configuration was actually built.

The file must distinguish included, ordered option and accessory installed after construction. For batteries, inverters, chargers, generators, motors, tools and pumps you control plates and patterns, avoiding automatically transferring data related to another specimen. The exceeded tables remain archived but are marked as non-operational; the current one must be recognizable without ambiguity even by a technician who did not follow the preparation.

Training is organized for concrete scenarios. The crew tries start and stop, switch between energy states, alarm reading, isolation of a circuit and restoration allowed by manuals. On the bridge there are configurations of sails, reductions, communication between rudder and maneuvers area, storage of equipment and preparation of external areas. A function is not considered completed only because the command responds once: a repeatable sequence, clear responsibility and registration of the outcome is required.

The final minutes separate blocking reliefs, programmed corrections and informational observations. Each open point is responsible, expiry and counterprove mode. Pictures of plates and configuration screens accompany the annotated numbers; credentials and sensitive data remain in the reserved dossier. The owner thus receives a verifiable basis for assistance, updates and future resale, without confusing commercial promises with features of the delivered unit.

Before acceptance, layout, inventory, schematics, software and evidence are reconciled. Open voices are responsible and end. The FP44 is ready when the physical boat coincides with documents and when each system can be managed without assumptions.
