Configure the Fountaine Pajot FPY 80 means building a coherent matrix between cabins, kitchen, crew, energy and activities on the sea. The motor catamaran measures 23.99 meters for 11.09, accommodates up to 14 guests and five crew members and offers six distribution families. Before choosing materials and atmosphere, you need to freeze how people, services and plants will cross the boat.

First decision: upper or lower kitchen
The location of the kitchen is the main bifurcation. The “galley up” variants place it on the upper deck, those “galley down” lead it to the lower level. It is not a decorative preference: change relationship with the living room, service route, ventilation, storages and connected systems.
The verification starts from a written use scenario. There are meals, people, mode of service and management of the galley. Then we simulate the path between conservation, preparation, table and collection. The correct layout is what holds this cycle without unnecessary crossings or interference with private areas.
Two VIP Master variants
The VIP Maestro proposal is available with a lower or higher kitchen. The configuration described includes a master bedroom suite with bathroom, a VIP cabin with bathroom and two double cabins, each with its own bathroom. The chosen table must be identified with its exact revision.
Prior to approval, access, widths, storages, door openings and connection between rooms and corridors are checked. The presence of dedicated bathrooms increases the number of utilities to be reconciled with water and electrical schemes; the control cannot be limited to the furnished floor plan.
Configurations for four, five, six or seven guests
The catalogue also lists a VIP version for four guests with lower kitchen, a Master for five with superior kitchen, one for six with lower kitchen and one for seven with superior kitchen. These numbers identify distinct families and do not authorize unapproved hybrid combinations.
For each option you prepare an environment-person matrix: bed, bathroom, storage, exit, lighting and service. Only after that we pass to the materials. The maximum number of 14 guests declared for the model must always be read together with the configuration and documentation applicable to the unit.

Shipowner Suite: 33 square meters to check
The owner’s suite measures 355 square feet, about 33 square meters. The surface is wide, but the control concerns the usable parts: passages around the bed, opening of the furnishings, access to the bathroom, obscuring and technical panels. A visit with the empty environment is not enough.
Customization can introduce integrated furniture, materials and finishes. Each variant receives an approved code and sample, as well as a weight and accessibility verification. The replacements decided under construction must be accepted formally, avoiding discrepancies between rendering, distinct and delivery.
Guests and crew must have compatible routes
Fountaine Pajot declares up to five crew members and attributes 398 square feet, about 37 square meters, to the areas dedicated to them. The separation of flows serves to maintain privacy and continuity of the service, but must be tested in real conditions.
The verification sequence simulates alarm clock, preparation of meals, cleaning, mooring and shift changes. There are intersections, doors, steps and shared access. The overall width does not guarantee an efficient organization.
Salone and main bridge as a unique system
The main bridge relates to the living room, well and access to the external bridges. The well is declared in 796 square feet, about 74 square meters. Visual continuity must correspond to a practical operation of doors, obscurements, air conditioning and drainage.
When accepting each closure is tested several times. You control games, locks, stops and signals, along with maintenance access hidden from the furniture. Mobile elements must have a documented safety position for navigation.

Flybridge from 40 square meters
The panoramic flybridge offers 431 square feet, about 40 square meters. The configuration must clearly distinguish the convivial zone, preserving visuals, communication and passages. Added seats or tables cannot hinder access to the station.
The test includes lighting, protections, drainages, routes to the main bridge and fixing of the furnishings. If additional equipment is provided, they enter the separate and weight level. Each user must appear in the relevant system scheme.
Prodiera area and hot tub
The bow lounge measures 409 square feet, about 38 square meters, and the description includes a hot tub. The final configuration must clarify the presence, specifications and circuits of the equipment, without deducing components not listed in the order.
The check sequence affects access, passage surfaces, protections, covers and storage of mobile materials. For each plant, manual, identification, valves and authorized modes of use are controlled. The functions of the area must remain compatible with maneuvers and with maintenance.
Beach club and inventory of activities
The beach club is declared in 205 square feet, about 19 square meters. The yard provides integrated storages for water games and recreational facilities. To understand if the space responds to the program, the owner must define a real inventory, with dimensions and weight of each element.
The test follows the entire sequence: opening, extraction, putting in water, recovery, rinsing and fixing. An equipment that enters a compartment but cannot be handled safely is not really compatible. The access routes to technical components remain free.

Fresh water: capacity and circuit
The nominal capacity is 1,600 liters. The manufacturer associates it with the daily needs of guests and crews up to 24 hours, but the real management depends on the profile of use and the installed equipment. Total capacity, usable quantity and reserve are not synonymous.
The check reconciles tanks, pumps, filters, accumulations, utilities, sensors and indications. Every water point is tested, pressure stability is observed and alarms and accesses are controlled. Health and maintenance procedures must be delivered to the crew.
Dissalator up to 600 liters per hour
The energy description indicates a capacity of up to 600 litres per hour. “Fino a” is not a guaranteed flow in every condition. Brand, model, absorption, quality of incoming water and performance parameters must appear in the contractual documentation.
The verification sequence includes sockets, prefilters, drains, valves, washing and storage according to manual. A test is recorded in the available conditions and operators are formed. The license plate does not replace the procedure nor authorizes to ignore the water consumption of the real profile.
Oil: 4,800 liters are not an autonomy
The nominal capacity of the oil is 4,800 liters, while the value of autonomy is not published. Without engine curves, usable quantity, reserve, load and conditions, no responsible number is obtained. The propulsion configuration further changes the picture.
In delivery, tanks, vents, vents, valves, filters, sensors and interception devices are identified. The indications are compared with quantity known as permitted by the protocol. The crew receives a readable scheme and procedures for supply, transfer and control.

Motors: standard or increased option
The standard configuration uses two 480 hp engines; the alternative rises to two from 900 hp. The transmission is indicated by direct axis. The page does not specify trademarks and models, so the order must report devices, gearboxes, controls, serials and all connected systems.
The verification of the choice compares technical support, spare parts, maintenance and navigation program. Speed and consumption are not presumed. The tests must declare load, conditions, regime and method, so that the results really belong to the specimen delivered.
Energy: do not fill the placeholders
The manufacturer describes high voltage lithium batteries, a generator dedicated to solar charging and production, but the page shows the letter “X” instead of the capacity and power values. It is therefore incorrect to assign numbers to these devices or import them from another model.
The configuration must indicate nominal and usable energy, tensions, chargers, generator, panels, protections and management logic. A load balance separates essential services, intermittent utilities and deferable functions. Only this approved version becomes the basis for evidence.
Lithium batteries: documents and training
The presence of a high voltage system requires documentation of the actual apparatus. The verification involves identification, authorized access, planned ventilation, protections, indications, alarms and operating modes established by the manufacturer. Technical procedures are not invented.
The crew must recognize normal states and alarms and know when to suspend use and request qualified assistance. Manuals and schemes must refer to installed serials. The tests are carried out within the limits indicated and leave a report with result and anomalies.

Generator and charging
The generator is described as a unit dedicated to fast charging, but its power is not valued on the page. The specifications must then specify model, power, cooling, exhaust, start, stop and integration with energy management.
The test records start, load socket, stability, indications and stop according to protocol. Each load attributed to the generator must exist in the approved scheme. Noise, vibration or quantitative performance is declared without documented measurements.
Solar production and hotel loads
The surface of the catamaran allows the project to integrate solar production, but the peak value is not indicated in the current board. The order must specify panels, installed power, regulators, monitoring and accessibility for inspection, without promising a constant production.
Air conditioning, kitchen, lighting, multimedia and well-being are among the hotel loads mentioned. The energy budget must describe simultaneity and priority. The test uses recognizable scenarios and records flows and alarms, instead of limiting itself to the isolated ignition of each user.

Final testing of plants
The test starts from the reconciliation between distinct patterns, serials and apparatuses present. It continues with individual and integrated tests: water, production, propulsion, energy, kitchen, air conditioning, lighting and indoor utilities. Each result must be connected to the accepted requirement.
Abnormalities enter a list with responsible, expiry and closing criterion. A correction is not completed until the relevant test is repeated. Photos and minutes remain in the private dossier of delivery, along with the final revisions of manuals.
fPY 80 verification sequence before signature
Before signing the acceptance you should check: layout and location of the kitchen; beds and bathrooms; crew paths; weights plan; motor configuration; tanks and indications; dissalator; energy scheme; serials; beach club inventory; technical access; manual; training and test results.
The verification sequence must reflect the ordered boat, not a generic specimen. The FPY 80 gives a lot of distributive and design freedom; for this reason the best result comes from a frozen, traceable and proven configuration as a whole.
