Configuring it correctly means avoiding two opposite errors: considering the hybrid an automatic function that does not require management, or judging it only from the data of autonomy. The delivery must instead rebuild architecture, load priority, protection, degraded mode and maintenance. This verification sequence separates official values, declared equipment and controls to be performed on the individual unit.
Identify version, schema and serial numbers
The SC acronym identifies the configuration with Yanmar 3JH40 engines and parallel hybrid transmissions. The manufacturer also offers a version with diesel and traditional axis line: it is not correct to transfer features or procedures from one to another. The initial minutes must list thermal engines, electrical machines, inverters, battery, solar controllers, chargers and control systems with model and serial. Lithium and BMS battery
The 46.8 kWh declared express nominal energy, not necessarily fully usable capacity. The battery management system must control voltages, temperatures and currents of the modules, governing charge and discharge limits. In delivery, the displayed charging status occurs, the matching between tools, the ventilation or air conditioning provided and access to the protections. The manual must describe isolation, emergency stop and behavior after the intervention of the BMS. No evidence has to circumvent security consent.

Integrated Solar: nominal power and real performance
The surface on the roof carries the nominal power declared at 3.938 watts. The test identifies each string, verifies voltage and current under noted conditions and compares the sum with the indication of the regulators. Shaft shadow, temperature and irradiation always prevent the complete plate. Also important are pond passages, fixings, possibility to dissect the system and accessibility of connectors. A photo of instant values only makes sense together at the time, weather and state of loads.
Regeneration under sail
Regeneration takes advantage of the propellers dragged from the water to move electric machines as generators. The result depends on speed, winding of the propellers, charging status and system limits; a universal performance should not be deducted. During an authorized test, the power indicated in several stages is recorded, verifying that the temperature and alarms remain normal. It also controls the procedure to exclude the function. The useful data is not an isolated peak, but the stability and consistency of reading with conditions.

Diesel Yanmar: ordinary backup and maintenance
The two Yanmar 3JH40 remain essential components even on a boat presented as hybrid. Serial controls, levels, filters, sea sockets, drains, ventilation and access for ordinary operations. The start must be successful according to the procedure provided even when the electrical part is not available in normal mode. The report contains hours, tensions, pressures and temperatures shown, as well as any alarms. Redundancy only has value if the crew can activate it and if the common circuits are identified.
Axis and switching between sources
Because diesel and electric share the transmission, joints, supports, seals and alignment deserve a dedicated control. Unordered options should not appear in the calculation as if they were present.
48 volts and protections
Verricelli and dissalatore are indicated among systems that exploit the 48 volt net. A higher voltage reduces the current to equal power, but imposes components, sectioning and consistent procedures. They identify pictures, converters and utilities, they control labels and protections, and the crew can selectively remove power. It is not necessary to confuse the propulsion battery with a separate source: each branch must have clearly documented limits and responsibilities.

Steering controls and control pages
The two stalling stations must show consistent information about energy and propulsion. The test test test tests selection of the control seat, wheels, stops, displays, acoustic and visual alarms. The movement of the station should not stretch wiring or create crushing points. Groups, tenders and power supply
Carbon hangers use two button-controlled winders. The yard suggests ten or 11 feet dinghy and indicates that a 12 feet enters with limited space. On the record are permitted flow rate, full dinghy weight, lifting point position and stop test. We control electrical protections, controls and manual procedure. Electric propulsion test
The manufacturer declares silent electric mode and without fumes up to 7 knots. The test records state of the sea, load, speed, power, charging status and time, without extrapolating an autonomy from a few minutes of test. The answer goes back and forth, the passage to the neutral and the planned emergency stop. Any thermal or battery limit must produce a clear notice. The test ends with a control of the rooms to exclude odours, losses and anomalous temperatures.
Test with diesel and value of autonomy
The board reports about 8.7 engine nodes and 720 miles to 7 knots. These numbers require conditions, usable fuel, reserve and contribution of the other sources to be applied to a crossing. The delivery test must not pursue the maximum value: it must confirm start, synchronization, response, temperatures and charging in the expected modes. Load and sea are noted, then the assumptions of declared autonomy are required at the yard. Planning will remain more and more conservative than the promotional data.
Closing the minutes and degraded modes
The final record distinguishes proven functions, pending adjustments and anomalies that prevent acceptance. It must include pictures, software, serials, initial and final readings and a copy of the patterns. The crew proves at least battery isolation, arrests, diesel startup, government with an indisposable side according to manual and recovery after a risk-free misleading alarm. They don't force protection and they don't improvise bypass. A HH44-SC is delivered correctly when the shipowner knows not only the nominal operation, but also the system boundaries and actions allowed if a part is less.
The verification sequence must become operational routine
After delivery, energy and mechanical controls must be transformed into a short sequence: state of the batteries and diesels before departure, configuration of the sources, verification of the sea sockets, position of windows and mirrors, solar production, alarms and reserve provided. On return, consumption, regeneration and anomalies are recorded, keeping the boat's history. This discipline allows you to compare seasons and updates without relying on memory. The parallel hybrid offers more operational modes; its advantage emerges when each mode has data, limits and procedures readable by the crew.
