Configuring a Highfield Sport 660 means turning a 6.65 meter card into a verifiable system. The model declares a single outboard up to 200 hp, 140 litre tank, hydraulic rudder, electric packages, platform, ladder and shower kit. No voice, taken in isolation, ensures that the boat is ready for use. The verification sequence must connect motor, fuel, electrical, drainage, storage and security to the actually delivered version.
First rule: photograph the configuration
The delivery starts from an inventory with photographs, tags, freshmen and distinct. Tubular, motor, propeller, battery, instruments, seats and optional must match the order. Promotional images are not a proof of supply. For each component, the model, location, protection and manual are applicable. This step avoids attributing to the boat systems not present and creates a useful reference when accessories or maintenance activities are added.
Check real footprints and accesses
The declared quotas are 6.65 meters for 2,56, with internal space of 4.75 for 1,32 meters. The check sequence also measures consoles, corridors, lids and route to the stern, because the furniture can reduce the useful sections. Open all the gavones with pillows and tables in the planned positions. It occurs that a person can reach bow, rudder and ladder without using wiring, windscreen or components not designed as hooks.
Console: visuals, controls and fixations
At the driving station you will feel sitting, field of view, steering wheel, cuff, key, stop, tools and alarms. Each command must be identified and reached without abnormal movements. The carbon-effect dashboard is a declared finish, it does not replace the inspection of the fixtures and the back console. Cables and pipes must have correct rays, protection against rubbing and maintenance space. Nothing mobile can interfere with steering wheel or lever.
Hydraulic steering under control
Highfield includes hydraulic steering and steering wheel in the standard. On a steady boat, you take the engine from one end to another, observing regularity, games, fittings and possible losses. The lines must be supported and far from edges or heat. In water the answer occurs with progressive maneuvers, without deducing a universal quality from the only plant. The manual establishes fluid, purge and intervals; each intervention must be recorded in the technical file.
Single motor: limits and data to be noted
The board admits a single outboard with XL stem, up to 200 hp and 280 kilograms. The verification sequence shows model, serial number, power, mass, propeller, installation height and bolts. The maximum limit is not a prescription of power. Starting, stopping, cooling, charging and alarms are tested according to the manual. Speed and consumption must be measured on the specimen, with load and noted conditions, not imported from other installations.

The 140 litre tank
Bocchettone, stopper, vent, pipe, filter, fittings and access to the tank. After refuelling, odours or anomalous traces are controlled and the second project area is ventilated. The nominal capacity does not define autonomy: measured consumption, reserve and conditions are required. An initial register notes liters, people, cargo, regime and state of the sea. The fuel mass also enters the weight balance and changes during the exit.
Electric boat and console package
The equipment cites electric packages for boat and console, but does not authorize to imagine specific utilities not listed. The verification reconstructs battery, detachment, protections, distribution, returns, steps and identification of actual circuits. Each command is tested and compared to the scheme. Replacement fuses must have correct characteristics. If you install new electronics, you need to update the schema, calculation of loads, protection and documentation, keeping the back of the dash accessible.
Battery, start and charge
The battery is not described with universal capacity in the board, so the control starts from the exemplar: technology, capacity, date, fixing, dampers and ventilation when required. The state is measured according to the manufacturer's instructions and the voltage is observed during start-up and charging. Cables and terminals must be protected from water and objects. The choice of additional services cannot be made without checking electrical autonomy, alternator and start-up priority.
Self draining bridge and drains
The self-dreaming bridge appears among the standards. Discharges and valves are localized, residues are removed and the outflow occurs in the permitted conditions. A commercial label does not replace this proof, because bags, tops or dirt can block the steps. The gavones inspect before and after washing to recognize any infiltration. Water present in a technical volume must be explained, removed and followed, not hidden by stowed material.
Shower: water, line and hygiene
The shower kit is indicated in the standard equipment. On board the actual tank is identified, the capacity reported in the supply, the filling point, the pump, the command and the possibility of unloading or cleaning. You do not invent a volume that the current card does not declare. The system is emptied and maintained according to manual, especially during periods of inactivity. Pipe and shower must be stored without blocking or technical access.
Platform and ladder: water proof
The platform with ladder requires specific testing. With crashed motor and controlled conditions, opening, useful depth, hooks and ability to return without help. Peaks, parabords and shower should not occupy the same route. The procedure of man at sea must indicate who stops the engine and how the person is assisted. A ladder present but not accessible from the water or blocked by a furniture does not meet the operational function.
Sitting and sunbathing in every configuration
Integrated rear seat, cushions and sunbeds are declared equipment. The test sequence assembly, transformation, supports, closures and access to the underlying rooms. The pieces removed must have a storage place and cannot remain free during navigation. They control drying and cleaning of the teak effect foam. The goal is not to maximise the padded surface, but to move from the stop to the march while maintaining free discharges, controls and safety material.
Tubular: material, valves and repair
The tubular can be ORCA Hypalon or PVC, with six rooms and a diameter of 40 to 56 cm. The contract must identify the variant; for PVC are declared joints welded. We control wire valves, pressure according to directions, bolt, abrasions and zones close to bits or supports. Pedal pumps and repair kits are standard and must be invented. Adhesives, solvents and detergents must be compatible with the actual material.
Roll bar, towing and lifting points
Roll bar, lifting points and towing eyelets are listed, but have functions that should not be confused. The manual and marking define use and limits; the roll bar is not automatically suitable for any shooting. Bolts, bases and interference are inspected, while lifting points are left accessible. A written procedure for lifting or crane specific harnesses and responsibilities, avoiding deductions based on only visual robustness.
T-top and sunshade in optional verification sequence
The published options are T-top and Sunshade. If present, the separate must report model, fixing, mass, height and opening mode. Stability and interference with roll bar, console, cover and access to aft. If they include utilities, the circuits enter the schematic. When they are stored they must not become a free cargo. Availability and compatibility are confirmed in writing: a photo of another boat is not a technical document.
Boot: a map before loading
The Highfield tin bag and the thermal bag are included in the standard list. They must be fixed or placed in rooms that do not interfere with plants. The storage map assigns a position to anchor, tops, fenders, safety, spare parts and personal items. The larger weights remain low and retained, respecting access and trim. Wet or abrasive material is separated from battery and wiring. A full gavone without order is not useful capacity.
Weight balance and load limit
Engine, fuel, battery, water, optional and equipment are added to the 781 kilograms. The current maximum load is 1,120 kilograms and maximum people are fourteen; tag and specimen documents prevail in the verification. The check sequence sums the masses and records their position. The maximum number of people does not automatically show that each distribution is suitable. The usual crew is defined leaving room for safe equipment and movements.
Water testing with noted conditions
The final test records date, people, fuel, equipment, wind and sea. Starting, stopping, alarms, rudder, progressive response, visual, drainage and absence of material movements. Unmeasured speed or consumption is not attributed. Any comments are transformed into traceable interventions, then reproduced. Only after the closure of the anomalies the file describes the approved configuration. Testing is not a promotional demonstration, but a repeatable verification.

Before each exit, weather, fuel, battery, motor, tubular, discharge, safety material, peaks and ladder are controlled. Periodically we inspect rudder, filter, fixtures, hull finish, valves and electrical connections according to manuals. After washing and drying, abnormalities and maintenance are noted. Each change updates weight, scheme and inventory. In this way the Sport 660 remains readable: no accessory hides a system and no data is separated from the real configuration.
