SASGA Yachts presents the Menorquín 36 Open, a 36-foot dayboat that renews the Mediterranean tradition with a combination of outdoor and indoor spaces, powerful motorizations and a layout designed to live the sea throughout the day. The boat, which will be presented at the Palma International Boat Show 2027, represents an evolution of the brand, with an identity that favours outdoor life without sacrificing the construction quality and the distinctive details of the yard. The model has been developed to offer a complete experience, suitable both for short excursions and longer stays, thanks to a distribution of fluid spaces and advanced technical equipment.
A dayboat designed for the whole day
The Menorquín 36 Open is designed to be used throughout the day, with outdoor and indoor spaces that fit perfectly. The layout of the bridge was organized following the different moments of a day at sea: bathroom, relaxation, lunch and navigation. The central area, called dinette, houses two folding tables that, united, can accommodate up to eight people, while an outdoor kitchen complete with gas stove, sink and refrigerators allows you to enjoy a convivial experience. The front of the bridge offers a protected area, ideal for mooring, while the control area is designed to be used both standing and sitting, with an ultra-panoramic display that encloses all the instrumentation.
The distribution of the spaces is designed to smooth the passage between the different functions. On the stern, the bathroom platform integrates the ladder and a stainless steel tientibene, while two pillows of almost two meters long form a large double sun separated from a central passage. This solution allows you to keep free access to the bow and quickly transform the sun area into a convivivial space, with the backrests that can be repositioned to fit the different needs.
Motorization and performance
The Menorquín 36 Open is available in two motor configurations: a pair of 270 CV engines or a 320 CV pair. With 270 hp motorization, the cruise speed is 23 knots, while the maximum speed reaches 28 knots. The capacity of the tanks, with 650 liters of fuel and 350 liters of fresh water, expands the operating range of the model, allowing longer excursions without compromising comfort. The presence of two sleeping areas, with a double bed and a separate bathroom, makes the dayboat suitable for extended stays, maintaining a proper privacy level.
The philosophy of the project translates into a distribution of spaces that favours outdoor life. The model has been developed to offer a complete experience, suitable both for short excursions and longer stays, thanks to a distribution of fluid spaces and advanced technical equipment. The presence of two sleeping areas, outdoor kitchen, separate bathroom and storage capacity allows to extend the use beyond the simple day boating.
The Menorquín 36 Open represents an evolution within the SASGA Yachts range, not a simple variant of an existing model, but a boat developed around a different way of living the sea. The bridge is the main onboard environment, with spaces that change function during the day and a direct relationship with water. At the same time, the presence of two sleeping areas, outdoor kitchen, separate bathroom and storage capacity allows to extend use beyond the simple day boating.
